They say that a picture paints a thousand words and whilst that isn’t always the case this one certainly does that and more for me. I remember when my kids were little getting raised eyebrows when I said how much I loved being around children and dogs because they’re so similar.

Just to explain what I mean, it’s all about the simplicity they see the world. There is something beautiful about the unconditional love they give and this is really evident when dogs and children interact. This is my granddaughter Pippa with Cookie and they share a lovely bond of mutual respect and affection.

A picture really does paint a thousand words….it’s a shame we can’t see the world as simply as they do. It would surely be a nicer placer.
