Author Visits
A few pictures from our most recent visits. See below for all the details about booking a visit.
School visits
Our school visits have proved very popular and tend to get booked up quite far in advance. particularly around World Book Day/week
So far we have visited over 300 schools and despite losing Monty we have continued with our new addition Bandit.
Book sales are at a reduced price for children and we supply all the ordering information for schools.

Here’s what some of the teachers had to say about our visit;
Mark and Monty kindly made a trip to the SEN Unit based at our Comprehensive School. The pupils really enjoyed ‘I’m not a Panda Cow’ and were thrilled to meet Monty - star of the book. It was a tremendous opportunity for the pupils to meet an author, and to actually meet ‘a character’ really brought the book to life.
Many thanks to Mark and Monty for their patience and time , it was greatly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed by both pupils and staff.
Thank you so much. Much appreciated

I work in a village school in Cumbria. As a small school, the costs of bringing in authors can be expensive. When I met Mark and Monty at an event last year, I was amazed to learn there was no additional costs for the school! I was so excited to invite Mark and Monty to our setting. I could see straight away it promoted the children’s writing opportunities. After his second visit with Cookie it was evident that Mark had inspired the reluctant writers to put pen to paper and have a go! They wrote their own books linked to two main characters Monty and Cookie!
Mark Bringing Monty and Cookie into school has transformed the children’s attitudes of reading and writing! I highly recommend his visits to any setting. I can’t wait for him to visit us again with his third book!

Monty and Mark visited our school in March all children from Nursery to Year 6 got to have the story of I’m not a Pandacow read to them and then got chance to ask questions and make a fuss of Monty. All the children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the visit and can’t wait for the next one. Children still talk about Monty now and we had some many parents thank us for inspiring their children to read books and to be authors just from them meeting a real author. Monty was so well behaved and a credit to Mark. I think the visit is summoned up by what a parent wrote on our Facebook page.
‘Amelia has not stopped talking about Monty and cockeyed spangles! She had a lovely assembly and it’s great to see the school engaging in such lovely visits from authors and much more to inspire the children’
