Zoom/Teams sessions are a great way for me to read one of my books to students and answer some of their questions without having to physically be there which is obviously very difficult in the current climate.

The children can still see Monty and Cookie and of course it’s all slobber free

My school Virtual sessions are completely FREE!

Schools can choose readings from the selection of books here.

Children are still able to purchase signed, dedicated and pawtagraphed books at the discounted school rate after the event and these will be delivered or posted if distance is an issue.

I’m happy to Zoom/Teams with any English-speaking school in Europe, the US or Canada, providing the session can be done between 9:00am and 5.00pm United Kingdom time subject to my availability. If you are not in the United Kingdom, you can use the international time converter here to convert from your local time to UK time.

A session usually lasts around 30-45 minutes with questions. I have a minimum group size of 10 students for free sessions but I have no maximum group size.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot offer signed books to schools outside of the UK just because of the restrictions of postage costs but all books are available on Amazon, Barnes Noble etc.

What I do in a Skype/Zoom session

After saying hello to the class, I do a 10-15 minute reading (the whole of one of the picture books) then usually spend the remaining time answering the students' questions. However schools may wish to vary the format and I’m very open and flexible to this. Some of the books deal with environmental issues such as plastic pollution and wildlife poaching which may fit with a particular theme your are looking at. Whatever you choose to do, the direct interaction between author and readers will make the session a worthwhile experience.
