Mysteries of chasing a ball

Why do spangles chase a ball?

I just can't see the point at all

The hooman throws it, they run quick

They even chase a piece of stick

They bring it back it's thrown once more

It seems to me a real bore

If hoomans want it they should run

And we can throw it, now that's fun

But spangles will chase squibbles too

Can someone tell me why they do

Cos those things just run up the tree

And laff at doglets so silly

Those floppy eared ones stand and stare

Like that will bring the squibble there

You'd think they'd learn that they're too slow

But there's another and off they go

And why do spangles roll in poo?

Now that's a real strange thing to do

But not as strange as eating it

They're breath does smell a little bit

So when I curse maybe you'll see

What drives me mad about those three

I try to see things from their angle

But no one can......they're Cockeyed Spangle

So come on how is chasing a ball so much fun?
